WOW!!! Hard to believe that December is here!!!!!! Where did the year go?!?! I feel so behind right now..... didn't even get my Christmas tree up like I usually do on the day after Thanksgiving!!!!
But, I did log 116 miles for the month of November.....
Yesterday, Monday is a blur for me!!! We were so busy over the weekend at work, that I was dog tired Monday morning!!!!! You can tell how sleepy I was by the email that I sent to my friend that lives overseas..... she is the one that I refer to a lot in my blog..... she is who has helped me get to the point where I am with running!!! She is Awesome! None-the-less, the following is the email that I send to her:
I know she read that email and thought, "Say what?!?" LOL!! The email was to say, "I hate to say it, I chose rest over 3 miles today." HA! HA! I was tired! I re-set my alarm and got up later!!!! Luckily, I squeezed the 3 miles on the training plan in at lunch time..... so, I wasn't a total SLACKER!! LOL! :D
Soooo, this morning (Tuesday), I am jogging during my warm up time, and I see this beast of a spider crawling across the ceiling..... heading toward me!!! UGH!!! All I kept thinking was, what if it crawls over to me and then jumps on me? Yeah, I would surely fall off the treadmill!!!! Usually, my husband would kill spiders for me, but at 4am, I wouldn't dare wake him up to kill a spider....HA! HA! So, after careful, and well thought out strategic planning, I completed my warm up, stopped the treadmill, and went after the broom & a can of raid. I pierced the spider with the broom, and it fell to a dresser..... I then took a water bottle and knocked it to the floor where I blasted it with the can of RAID!!! "Operation kill the beast of a spider" was a success!!!!!! Then I was back on the treadmill and got the 3 miles done that was on the training plan for tuesday!!!!!
The above picture is of Alberta that is no longer with us...... will be sad not to have her on the Christmas card this year! We miss her!!!!
Gotta run..... UNTIL LATER!!!

Do you have days that you choose rest over miles? Or are you hard core and make yourself get up?
How is your week?
