LONG RUN DAY
Sunday always equals Long Run day...... I had 11 miles scheduled on the books; however, I ran 10 miles and walked one additional mile. So, I did make 11 miles on my feet, but only 10 miles were running. Our running group has a 10 miles loop, and today, I just was't going to add an additional mile.
Overall, the run was pretty good. I really think I am adjusting some to this heat and humidity. By NO MEANS am I starting to LIKE it!!! Or, that it is NOT an effort for me. Oh, it is tough, but still better than turning to the dreadmill! LOL! :D
Luckily, I had 2 other friends that got up before sun rise in order to join me. Frank and Rhonda definitely made the miles a great deal easier this morning!!!! If you are going to battle the hot humid summer weather of Georgia, it is much easier with other running peeps. As the saying goes, "misery LOVES company." HA! HA!!!

1 mile- 10:43
2 mile- 10:19
3 mile- 10:06
4 mile- 10:12
5 mile- 10:17
6 mile- 10:15
7 mile- 10:19
8 mile- 10:28
9 mile- 10:21
10 mile- 9:43 (seems we were eager to get the run done! LOL! Goal is to stay between a 10:10-10:40 pace for long runs..... oops....)
Lots of us run to clear our heads and receive stress...... running creates a balance in life. But, I think the saying below I found on Pinterest seems more true for me..... yes, I need professional help! HA! HA! :D
