So, yes!!! It has been in the news about a monkey on the loose, and that there have been sightings all over the city!!!! No joke!!!!!! I found out on Facebook!!!!
Everyday there seems to be someone saying they think they spotted the monkey!!!! I meant to say something about this in my post yesterday, because on my long run Sunday, I tried to be on the look out for this monkey everyone is speaking of!!! LOL! I never saw him though! I was hoping to be able to snap a picture of him!
Well..... on to other things, the road race that I am helping out with and organizing for my son's school is coming together! I have been shocked and pleasantly overwhelmed by the people stepping up to volunteer and people/companies stepping up to the plate to sponsor! It is awesome to have such support! More exciting news, the race bibs and the gift certificates from RoadID came in!!!!!
RoadID is something good to have! They have different bracelets and such that you can have your health information and emergency contacts put on in case an emergency happens and you are not able to give information. I have one. It is like wearing a watch. Hardly even notice. On my webpage here http://www.mytimerunner.com/blog, there is a link to RoadID, you should check it out!!!! It is a must have!!!!! Plus if you order off my link on my page, I get credit... would be much appreciated :)
see, Road ID bracelet looks like a watch or something.... there are different types and not all are like this one. I love mine! And when you have drug allergies and medical history, this is a VERY important thing to have on your run! Never know what can happen!
Monday morning work out (which almost didn't happen because I so wanted to stay in bed!):
walk 2 miles
12 of each x3 : Lunges, push-ups, squats, sit-ups/crunches, and jumping jacks. Then arm work out with 8 pound weights: 12 over head shoulder presses, upright rows, bent over reverse fly, bicep curls, and tricep kick backs! Arms burning! It was an effort to shower and fix hair this morning! LOL! :)
Thanks to those who actually take time to read my blog or that have gone as far as subscribing by email! I appreciate! I am by far no expert, but I do love running and trying to improve myself!
Well, have a GREAT MONDAY!! Until later.....

Do you have a RoadID? Isn't it such a great idea?!?
Arm exercises suggestions? Other suggestions on exercises you do on rest days?
If in Valdosta, have you spotted the monkey on the loose?!?!
