This morning was a treadmill kind of day....... Yes, my treadmill is in need of a bit of dusting, but even as dusty as it is, it pulls through in times like today! Just missed running with the Sunday running group. RATS! Yesterday, I worked all day. I was beat from the week in general. So, yesterday, I left work, called in take out from the Texas Roadhouse, ate my food on the way home, arrive home and gave my son and husband their food, took a shower, and CRASHED! Oh yes, I was in bed by 6:15pm and did not awaken until 5:30am this morning!!!!! Only to then realize that the running group had texted last evening at 6:30pm....... Unfortunately, living as far out as I do from where I meet them, I did not have enough time to make it! Would have loved running with them other than the treadmill, but it is all good! Can't believe I slept for 11 hours straight!
Anyway, 4.5 miles down followed up 12 of each exercise and performing 4 reps:
Knee lunges, push ups (girl push ups that is), Squats, ab crunches, and then jumping jacks. performed in that order.
So, I have recently read about using a golf ball to roll under the feet after running instead of a tennis ball. I went to Target and about fell out when I saw the price of golfballs and that you had to buy more than one because they come in a sleeve!!!! Golf must be a SUPER expensive sport!!! Anyway, a friend of mine, who golfs, was kind of enough to bring me one to use! Man, this hurts so good!!! I definitely think the golfball will be more effective than a tennis ball! Now, I just have to make sure I keep it in my running bag and not in site of my son!!! With the price of a golf ball, can't afford for my son to want to play with it and lose it !!! LOL!!!
Another benefit of the golfball is that it does not take up as much space as a tennis ball either!!!
Well, I need to get breakfast going and then get ready for the day!!!! Work again today, but thank goodness it is a short day!
Ever been so wore out that you slept greater than 10 hours straight? I tend to only do this when stressed....
Feet problems? Golfball or tennis ball? and why? I definitely think golfball is more effective now after trying!
