Stretching the hips is so very necessary for runners. The above picture of the several different types of hip stretches were found on Pinterest and came from backonpointe.tumblr.com. I also found a link that is very helpful in the area too!!! Check it out (HIP STRETCHING)
I was able to squeeze in a couple of miles, but it was just that, a couple! Oh well, it was something! And, still better than not running, right?
Ok, I confess, the foam roller is not the only thing that will be arriving at my door for mother's day! Yes, I ordered a SPIBelt too! I have a Nathan belt that holds water, but I don't always need to carry water and the Nathan belt is BIG and Bulky!!!! So yes, I have this SPIbelt that should be here soon!!!.... Can't wait!! Only if it would have arrived this week though!!! Would love to have had for my long run Sunday!!!! ***SIGH***
So proud to have served as Principal for the Day!!! He had a blast visiting the classrooms, helping to sort out handouts, helping to clean up a table, and seeing up the duties of the principal are!!! He said that he wants to hang out with the principal for the rest of the year!!! Oh boy!!!
Well, signing off...... tomorrow is Ben's birthday party!!!! Have to make sure everything is ready and need to rest up!!!! :)
