Had a little extra time today, so squeezed in an additional 0.5 miles to equal 4.53 for today!!!! :)
Read this article about a runner with cerebral palsy that wanted to stop during the last 3 or so miles, but a couple of firefighters wouldn't let her! I tell you, it is such a blessing to be able to walk, jog, or run!!! The spirit and fight in this person with cerebral palsy is amazing!!!! And, I just love that the fire fighters were there to help encourage her and help her achieve her goal of completing a half marathon!!! You can read the article at the following link, but **caution** may need a tissue......
So, this is interesting about getting in effective "short and sweat workouts." As busy a busy working mom and wife, this just might help keep me on a fitness track...... just might have to try when I have a few extra minutes!!! Check it out at the following link:
6 years ago, this special "BIG" boy came in to my life at a huge 10+ pounds!!!!
Ben was super excited!!!!! He said, "It is great turning six!"
Last night, after I had tucked Ben into bed, I heard him singing, "Happy Birthday to me, Happy birthday to me, Happy Birthday dear Bennnnn, Happy birthday to me!!!" Yeah, he is over the moon about being 6 years old because now he is just like all of his friends in his class! :)
Ben's teacher emailed this picture to me..... he kept telling me of the "birthday hat" that he was going to be able to wear because it was his birthday today! No wonder he was excited to go to school on his birthday! LOL!!! OH and the socks to his knees? Yes, he stretches them this way because "that is how soccer players wear them." well, okay then!!
Have a GREAT rest of the night!!!! Until Later..........
If short on time, do you squeeze in a short type but effective routine? If so, do share!!!
Run today? Cross train? rest?
How was you Wednesday!!
