So, today I had to "rest" yes AGAIN because of this random FOOT injury!! errrrrr!!!! But, still trying to make the best of it!!!!!! I walked 2 miles on the treadmill followed by the exercises mentioned above and below. All are from what I found on Pinterest!! You know how I LOVE pinterest!!!!! When it says TOTAL ABS..... it means TOTAL ABS!!!! I see myself rolling out of bed tomorrow!!! No way am I going to be able to sit straight up out of bed!!!!! HA! HA!
So yes, I am in the health field and one would expect me to throw our there it is skin cancer awareness month! But seriously, as runners and if you are exposed a great deal to the sun, then YOU MUST get check for skin cancer!!! A must!!! And, this coming from me as a nurse practitioner and as a patient! Yes, I had skin a basal cell carcinoma to my upper right fore head area! Have quite the scar from it too!!!
So, please wear sunscreen!!!!! I wear sunscreen on my face everyday! I am sure that I will have a basal cell pop up again due to my history of being sun burned in the past, but I am trying my best to stay protected. Try to wear sun protected clothing when able.
