Okay, this lateral foot pain is starting to bring me down. The pain seems to come and go, but when it does occur, it seems to be when I apply pressure or weight on the foot. Of course, in the back of my head, I think, can this be some kind of stress fracture? I did the "hop" test......well, first time, I hopped with no pain!! YAY!!! Then a bit later, I did it again and I experienced the pain! :( Not good. I am so frustrated! Getting bummed out. Thinking that I need to consider some other type of work out in the mean time because running does't look to be in the near future! Thinking I just may need to get an X-ray! Only thing, there is no swelling or bruising. And, confusing thing is, it is not the top of my foot, but rather the lateral aspect..... and not really behind ankle, so not peroneal tendonitis. I really can't say that the pain has gotten much better. But, it continues to come and go. I can walk normally without a limp, but at times, when pain more severe, I limp slightly. *****SIGH*****
So, plan of attack tomorrow if figure another work out plan.... without running :( That is unless I awake in the morning with miraculous improvement! We shall see. Looks like that 5k on Saturday may not happen!
Ok, so on the bright side of things, I had a hair appointment today!!! Always nice to get a little pampered. Had to get the grey hair and dark roots touched up! And, boy, one looks ridiculous with all the foils in the hair!!! But, that is what it takes.... gotta do, what one has to do, RIGHT?!?
