It was an early morning wake up call! Scheduled a run with 2 fabulous ladies!!! Wish I had taken a picture to share of us! Only picture I have is of my watch! LOL! And, man, this picture makes my arms look hairy!! What is up with that?!? LOL!!!
The weather was actually really nice.... not too warm or humid.
We managed to finish at 10.93 miles!!! Honestly, it went so fast!!! Did not seem like we were out there running as long as we were!!! I did wake up with a headache, but decided to run anyway! The conversation while running took my mind off the headache, and the fact that we were running!!! I tell you, I really think the secret to a long run is having running partners!!! You get involved with conservation and the time FLIES!!!! Just Amazing!!!! I have always been a solo runner for most part (except for races), but I have to say having someone to run with is FABULOUS!
Okay breakdown of todays run:
mile 1- 11:32 mile 7- 11:04
mile 2- 12:01 mile 8- 11:33
mile 3- 12:04 mile 9- 12:48
mile4- 11:47 mile 10- 11:48
mile 5- 12:01 mile 10.93- 10:55
mile 6- 11:22
The run was a bit exciting (actually scary) when a dog, out of no where, came running across a major road barking!!! Thank goodness it was early in the morning, and there wasn't hardly any traffic!!! If it had been later in the day, the dog could have been hit by a car!!!!! Also, the owners quickly came after the dog!!!!! No one or animal was hurt!! Thank GOODNESS!!!! But, I bet, lesson learned for the owners to keep that dog on a leash when taking it for a walk!
When I got home, my headache had gotten worse!!! BUMMER!!! I took a shower and ended up laying back down. Thankfully, after waking up, the headache had dulled!!! And was tolerable!!! But man, really hadn't planned on having a headache today! UGH! But, once a month, this kind of headache is one that I can't seem to dodge!!! No fuN!
Hoping everyone had a HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!! Until later.......
Long run today?
Have a Mother's day? Relaxing? or super eventful?
