I will be watching the mail closely! I just ordered these!!! Knickers by Oiselle!! (click on Oiselle- I must figure out how to make link words a different color, until then I will make BOLD)...... Hope these are as awesome as they sounds. Used my birthday money to purchase.. so, Happy Birthday to me!!! Seems my birthday turned into a week long celebration.... LOL!
OH MY, I posted that I could't wait to get these Oiselle knickers in the mail on twitter and THE KARA GOUCHER herself favorited my tweet.... (I know I am acting like a goober over this, but a little star struck)....... perhaps would have been better if she had responded or retweeted, but I will take a simple favorited of a tweet!!!
Training to be be a successful runner is always a subject that I see talked about on social media, blogs, etc. I found this article which I do think sums up what traits successful runners have: see article at: http://www.runnersworld.com/race-training/traits-successful-runners?cid=socTP_20150328_42841696&adbid=581848283967967232&adbpl=tw&adbpr=16031688
Being a successful runner can be measured by so many ways. For instance, when I tackled my first half marathon, I ran in 2:46: something. This past February, I ran the Tallahassee Half Marathon at a PR of 2:08:14!!! To me, that was success for me. No, I am not faster than most runners and really am more like a middle of the pack runner. But on that day, I was successful as a runner to have made a PR!! I was excited! So, I believe that you can be a successful runner at any level whether it be elite or beginner levels.
Do you have an new running gear coming in the mail? Pls share.....
How do you measure success as a runner?
Have a GREAT rest of the weekend!!!!
