Ok, on Monday, I was able to roll out of bed and meet my friend the treadmill! Or AKA the Dreadmill as most runners refer to a treadmill. Anyway, although I would much prefer running outside, it is way too dark in the morning when I run to even attempt running outside. I do not want to get hit by a car, or actually where I live attacked by a wild animal! It was not a "fast run" but after a week of not running, it felt GREAT!!!! Sure, I coughed a bit, but nothing that may me stop! YAY!!! Things are looking brighter these days!! I did throw in a little cross fit, see below. I got this routine off of Pinterest. I believe it was on a board by berry.com. I did 4 rounds of the following (I will be sore tomorrow morning):
The above seems simple enough, but trust me, it is quite the work out! I have been using this in my training for some time and have noticed positive benefits in my body and actually running as well!
