Well, here I am in week 2 of full marathon training..... that is training for my first EVER marathon training!!!! Since I have to run early on weekdays before work, my week day runs are on the treadmill.... so, I don't break those down as I do the weekend runs when I can actually run outside!!!! Oh how I live for the weekends!!!!
The plan for the week is as follows:
Monday- 3 miles (usually Monday is a rest day for me, but was't too bad of a run)
Tuesday- 3 miles
Wednesday- 3 miles
Thursday- Thanksgiving local 5K (YAY!!! I can run outside)
Friday- REST DAY
Saturday- 6 miles
Sunday- 13 miles
Sunday's miles will be tough for a couple of reasons; #1- the running group I run with will be out of town for their full marathon, #2-some of them out of town visiting family, and #3- I have to work from 1-4. Better believe I will be wearing my compression socks to work!!!! But the walking around at work will definitely work out any soreness in the legs :)
