Well, Friday was my 11 year wedding anniversary! My husband and I both were working. I went to Atlanta Bread Company to eat lunch and was ecstatic to find out the the Butternut squash soup was BACK!!!! YAY!!! And, what a sweet gesture to have a heart drawn on to the soup?!?
This picture was from our wedding reception! One of the most fun days ever! Everyone danced, laughed, and had a good time. Hard to believe this was 11 years ago.... how does time go by so fast?!?!
And, of course, I used my wedding anniversary as an excuse to buy cupcakes!!!! If you know me well, you know that cupcake are my kryptonite!!!!! OH and YES! They were as delicious as they look!!! YUM!!!
Today, in a near by town, was a festival called the "Honeybee Festival." They always have a 5k that runs that morning! For the last 3 years, I have wanted to run it, but for one reason or another, I haven't. But, this morning, I rolled out of bed and decided to go!!!! AND I AM SO GLAD I DID!!!
This picture was taken before the 5k. These are my friends Arlene and Lisa. It is always so funny to me that we lurk around for the perfect stranger to take out picture!!! LOL! Today, we must have asked a photographer because when we asked him, and he said, you ladies need to mover over to the right so I don't get the porta potties in the background!!! LOL!! Would have never paid attention to the background stuff and simply snapped the picture! HA! :)
And, in this picture, is my "I just got a PR jump!" I was so super excited!!! Been a long time since I PR'd!!!!! I do not know the official time, but I do know that it was 25:something! Definitely 25 minutes and between 45-59 seconds I know, but not exactly sure until official time are posted today or tomorrow. I always forget to stop my watch at the finish line, so my watch is not help really on the exact time!! But, I do know it was less than 26 minutes..... my previous PR was 26:05. The jump kinda gives away that I was a prior cheerleader!!! LOL!

Well, I need to get dinner and get to bed early, Long run tomorrow! Until Later!!!!
How was your weekend so far? Any races?
Do you completely let loose when you PR? Isn't it the greatest feeling?
